Welcome to the all new, all singing, all dancing, Bill Bailey official website. Well it's new, anyway.
It's been a while since the last update. Over the past few months Bill has stormed the Edinburgh Fringe with Steampunk, saved a variety of animals from disaster in Wild Thing I Love You, reprised his role as bemused Klingon on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and, most recently, taken to the stage with The Pinter Sketches - a tribute to the renowned playwright.
Bill isn't stopping there, and continues to work right through 2007, cameoing in Hot Fuzz (released February 16th), and joining the BBC Concert Orchestra for a Cosmic Shindig on February 26th.
And that's not all. As the site continues to grow, we'll be expanding the content, giving you more merchandise, and adding more news updates. Among other events to be confirmed later are a West End run of The Pinter Sketches and a tour - so watch this space.
Finally, for those of you looking for stocking fillers, you might want to make sure that your stocking is big enough to hold the Bill Bailey Classic Collection. This brand new DVD box set includes Cosmic Jam, Bewilderness and Part Troll (a triple-Bill, if you like) and is packed with special features. Now available in stores, or just a couple of clicks away in the merchandise section.

Great new site Bill!
i do agree about the lack of badgers on it though. Also are there any plans for a new forum, if so it would be great if it were more advanced than the previous forum which seemed to get hijacked *cough* Hexmetal *cough*

I like the new blog, but am missing the chance to see your face with a variety of beards... Anyway, come to Brighton soon, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms as you aren't on QI this season and my flatmates have all stolen my Black Books and gig DVDs.

Now then Bailey,
I bought your 'Das Hokey Kokey' single last week, popped it in my mini-hifi and the cd tray refused to close (and is now permanently jammed half-open, half-closed). So now I have to cart the whole system back to Curry's (these are my worries) and get it replaced.
Can I suggest all future releases carry a warning sticker saying: "This CD could cause your hifi system to do it's own hokey kokey if you try to play it".
(P.S. Do Kraftwerk know of your sublime hommage to them?)
Power to the badgers!

The new site style is rather subdued and understated-- perfect! Carl Sagan would love it if he were able to see it, but now he's a cat. Speaking of cats, hope your Christmas hams and turkeys stay free of hanging and hairless ones. Safety and warmth to you and yours and hope to see you soon.

Another fan from the south coast...Eastbourne to be exact (again!). Liking the new site and the little head avatar in the Favourites thingy...
I actually got a Xmas present I wanted: your new triple Bill DVD...I laughed so much that the Friesian cows, badgers, zebras and skunks all came home...I've only just recovered from Black Books!
A Happy New and Beardy 2007!

"Whats funnier then a Bill Bailey DVD?"
People who cant spell 'genius'.
"Whats funnier then two Bill Bailey DVD's?"
Two people who cant spell 'genius'.
[Love the site Bill. Love your work.] It saddens me that Black Books was only 18 episodes long. Did enjoy the cameos though. Keep up the excellent work.

All hail the bearded one for he is the way, the truth and the light! Never looked you up on the net before. Am a huge fan, a blue whale in fact. Am well into my comedy and of all those in the stand up business you cannot be outdone in terms of bizarre content, musical ability and entertaining mime. More abstract than advanced mathematics or the theory of logic, you have to come over to ireland again so that i can once and for all burst my laughing strings. Have a strange and interesting new year which gives you lots of inspiration for more surreal material.

Love the new site. Have the easily guided (or is it misguided) fans forgotten about, or indeed do they know about, what is one of Bills masterworks. "is it Bill Bailey". Is it ever going to appear on DVD, or was it, as I suspect wiped by the Beeb, (as they are prone to doing) and lost forever! I have discovered 4 of said programs and have transfered them to DVD, but the quality is dodgy as they recorded on a very old VCR. If antone has any descent recordings I would be eternally greatful. Also Jan Mulcahy post 17th Jan, echoed from Weymouth. Cheers me dears.
