New Tour... New Site.

Well, if you hadn't guessed from the echoes still reverberating from Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium, the Tinselworm tour is now underway. Bill will now begin a gradual movement Southwards expected to last around a month, and produce music, comedy and laughter likely to reach around 6.8 on the Richter scale. Those of you attending these gigs will also have the opportunity to enter a special competition, with a mystery prize.

To coincide with this gargantuan tour will be the launch of a suitably epic new website next week. That's right, say your last goodbyes to this modest abode, as it will soon be replaced by a new-fangled, ultra-modern comedy pad, with all new interactive elements including themed rooms to explore Bill's world, exclusive audio and video clips, unseen footage, podcasts and one of those fairground grabby things.

So remember to check back next week for that. And if you happen to live anywhere near an arena then be warned, the Tinselworm is wending its way towards you...

I bet that poor man Daniel was terrified...

Richard Szklaruk:

Dear Bill,

Don't suppose you can give me a mention during your show at Sheffield (Wednesday 14/11) and give me a "BIG UP"..? Do you think it will help me to succeed with women folk.. (I hope so!)

Hope to hear my name (and looking forward to a great show).

RICHARD (By the way, my last name is pronounced SCHLA-RUK...)

Jackie:

Was at the show in Glasgow on Friday night & all I want to say is "BRILLIANT!"

Hey Bill! I travelled up to Glasgow's SECC from Somerset to come see you! And it was awesome ^_^ I had a wonderful time, and it looked like you did too!

It's a shame I forgot to leave a message when I was there - 19 hours travelling each way tired me out!

880 miles to see you - well worth it mate!

Rhys:

Hi Bill. Me and my girlfriend have just bought the last two tickets to see you in Cardiff next wednesday, and we were told by Mrs ticket office that they were 'the worse seats in the place'. If you could find it in your heart to say hello to us, it would very much make our night. Love Rhys and Sinead x

You are the only one who can save us from our nil-points eurovision nightmare, only insect nation/hands up for the zebras/starbucks emo song can save us now!
All the best for the future man, i hope the rest of the tour goes as well as the biggest gig of your life did (yes it's SHEFFIELD!). If you are ever around North Wales or Sheffield again or Lincoln and fancy a smoke or drink or casual coffee and chat with a fan or just to test some new material just drop me an email :)
Hope to see you again soon!

Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Hi Bill,

Saw you at the Nottingham gig - It was absolutely fantastic! The mix of stand-up, music and the visuals on those huge screens was just mind blowing. I haven't laughed so much in ages, thank you for bringing your unique musings on life and Guinea-pigs to us Nottingham folk. Question: Did you keep that Bra???

Cnor and Lucy McGill:

Hello Bill From Milton Keynes!

Got back at 12pm today after seeing you in Nottingham last night and we can both say we have not laughed so much in ages. This was the first time we have seen you live and will be back again! :)

Thanks for a great evening :)

Judith:

Hello Bill,
Just got back from a weekend in Nottingham. We travelled up from Hampshire so we could go and see you with the whole family. Our kids aged 10 and 14 and their cousins aged 11 and 18, as well as us adults, laughed till we cried.
Won't spoil the gong for others, but it will remain with me forever!
Can't wait to go to Asda.
Thank you for the best night out ever.
Judith

Maurice:

Great show at Nottingham on Saturday. Travelled all the way from the "devils lay-by", well worth it!

Steve Archer:

Yo bill, i'm going to your birmingham gig on thursday and I hope you could grant me the excitement of you saying something like my name or something i dunno. just a little recognition . . . because it would actually be hilarious . . . no doubt.

heres to hoping!

Steve Archer

Claire Finn:

Hi Bill!

My mate and I attended Tinselworm in Sheffield last week (we were actually wearing costumes made from silver tinsel) and had a truly awesome night! Admittedly we were so far from the stage we could just about see a small white blob moving around so hopefully we were in the right show! :) Thank goodness for the big screens! Anyway, thanks for a great night, and all that's left for me to say is HOORRRNNNN!!!!

Claire and Emily xxx

Jason:

can someone tell me what time the gigs finish so i can see if i can go by train to Birmingham on Friday (and have a few beers). Cheers

Cara:

Hi Bill

Hubby and are LOOOONNGGGG time fans but will be seeing you for the first time on Saturday at the Bournemouth BIC - just found out we are front row - rockin'!!! Anyway, can't wait to see you in the flesh (so to speak) - will be wearing my nappy just to be on the safe side, as I tend to pee myself when watching your DVDs - ha ha!

Hugz,
Cara

Dave N:

Hi Bill, I was at Manchester last Friday - great gig dude! It was my mate that did the 'GIVE ME COCAINE' heckle (altho it was actually 'GIVE IT COCAINE' - referring to the donkey dragging the meteor of your career...)
Ham n Hamster song - brilliant! Also thought up a few others...
Badge n Badger...
Hedge n Hedgehog...
If you decide to use any though, i want royalties!! ;) keep rockin dude.

Janine:

Hi,
Kievs aside, does anyone know how to remove the lightbulb image that is burnt into my retinas? It's still there when I blink. Bill, you know what happens when you put shiny things up there!

Ingratiating in-jokes aside, it's a fab show. We were there on the 15th in Manchester and I was happily crying at various points.

Two questions though: what is the competition mentioned above, and when is the new website launching?I particularly would like to try the fairground spider grabby thingy.

Ah well, lunchbreak over. I think I'll plug into my Rangoon spoon (oops, sorry, I'm trying not to do it honest!) and listen to the show again - it'll help get me through the day.

Jan -X-

Tom:

Hi Bill. We saw you at the BIC and you were brilliant. On the way home in the car, 'Hello' by Lionel Richie came on the radio just as we went past a Homebase! Conspiracy?

ANDY HARRIS:

Thanks for a triffic gig at Cardiff last night, Bill. I haven't had so much fun since my neighbours dog caught it's bollocks in my lawnmower.. Love peace and substantial hair-loss, from Andy and Jackie xx

Charlene Hardy:

Bill! You were on top form last night in Cardiff! Apart from nearly being taken out during your whizz around the CIA, I think you a good time an' all.

My jaw is hurting from laughing so much.

EAT IT!!!!!!! hee hee!

Great show last night at Cardiff dude , I left with sore sides and an aching jaw. I did want to say though that it was cheeky of you to film me and the Mrs outside the event. Yes, we saw you in your M class ;). Reading in the programme it looks like you've been doing a fair bit of backstage filming yourself for the DVD, does that mean we might end up on there?

Looking forward to the new site and hope to see you on tour again in the future.

matt:

Saw you in newcastle bill, it was amazing. i honestly didnt think a comedy show could be that visually fantastic

Blow your horn!!

Fatima Ahad:

Oh my, Mr. Bailey, but you were fantastic in Birmingham last night - huge thank you for a great gig. It was so weird though - just as I was getting out my friend text me and said "Forget reality - there's nothing you can do about it" - she hasn't seen the gig by the way, so that sort of freaked me out! How is the horn now?! And just imagine how big that guts mobile phone bill is going to be this year. He's just going to get random Swiss people calling him goin "Hello - you have the horn? And it is broken?" lol so funny

CJ:

Cracking show at the Birmingham NIA Bill. Hope the Swiss projectile horn tech support managed to get back to you.

Chris Jones:

Bill... You were brilliant in Cardiff. In fact I wet myself so many times with so much mirth, that by the end of the evening, I do believe my plums were floating in my gusset.

I also particularly liked what appeared to be your very fetching ear ring microphone.

Cor, the wonders of modern technology mixed with fashion eh.!

Cheers Bill

xx..smooch!

Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn!

Helena

Mandy:

lovely liquorish:

Hayden:

I saw you at Bournemouth, Bill.. and I died, and found out you were god! You were higher than god.. you are beyond imagination.

You were incredible, and how you covered yourself with the Camera Incident.. it was easy to think it was part of the show!

You must do another tour, we have many more chants to heckle at you! All good, I swear.. your majesty.

But you are, is, was, will be, the almighty guru! Long Life The Dali-Farmer!

bobby smith:

Jon:

Saw you last night in Cardiff - you rock!!! Can't wait for the next show!!! Great stuff!

Jon

Dave Blackley:

Dear Bill

saw you last night in Brighton with my fiance Rachel.Wot a top show, both of us are suffering from sore throats this morning.
We have Cosmic jam, Bewilderness & Part troll on Dvd and pledged that we would see you Live, so as soon as Tinselworm was announced the tickets were booked. We had seen you at a small gig at the battersea arts council last year before you did the Edinburgh Festival, i was the frightened fool in the front row that got to hold your horn ! !
We are already looking foward to the next tour.

CJ Kennedy:

Is this new tour going to include Melbourne Australia.

Pat Hutchinson:

I came to your gig in Brighton last night and you were brilliant but I am not writing in about you - it's about me.
The reason for writing is that my attendance at the gig seems to have somehow altered my personality and I wondered if this is a common side-effect and whether you think it will wear off?

To explain, I took my dogs for a walk this morning, as ususal and as usual I had a bit of a conversation with myself. Usually my conversation is so boring that I can't even remember it afterwards but today it went like this:

I havent had a job per say. Well anyone could say it could be Fred say or John say what nationality has a name like Per? What is that word per French maybe pere mon pere dit that I havent had a job no thats pere. Per the sound a cat makes I havent had a job (said whilst purring like a cat) could be moo say I havent had a job (said whilst mooing), or miaouw say - I havent had a job (said whilst miaouwing or is it meewing?). Sounds like a Chinese dish, - Egg Fried Rice, a Spring Roll and Miaouwsay with sauce please etc etc.

I think you will get the drift. Anyway, I am now in my office and it hasnt stopped I seem to have developed that analytical way of considering things which you talked about. Have others had this problem or is it just me? people think Im weird anyway

Thanks for a top class evening of entertainment

Dan Jackson:

Saw you last night (Wednesday) at Brighton. I was the chappy that shook you hand just before you stepped into the fancy Lexus.

Jolly good evening all round. Even if I did drop my iPhone and smash my screen - you can't be to blame for that. Although, if you would like to reimburse me I accept cash, cheques, gold sovereigns and chocolate.

MacManUK:

Hi Bill,

I attended the Wembley Arena show on Thursday night (29th Nov 2007), and it was fantastic.

Although I didn't have the best seat in the house [a bit surprising as I ordered 5 mins after the website email came through], I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It looked like you were having a fun time too playing to your largest audience [us Londoners should go on a diet].

It was the first time I have seen you played live for real, as I have all the DVDs that you have previously done, and hope that the Tinselworm one will shortly be added to my collection.

Looking forward to your next live tour already.

Claire:

Hi Bill,

Saw you at Wembley on the 29th, all I can say is wow, you fully deserved the standing ovation that you got, you were absolutely brilliant! Can't wait for the dvd to come out so I have a permanent reminder of what has to have been one of the best nights of my life!

Sara Chambers:

I typed in billbailey.com by mistake and thought I had slipped through a time vortex!! Have a look.....

sharvfish:

I have just imported the two Tinselworm CDs into iTunes, and they are identified on CDDB as "UCLA Pediatric Board Review" and "Liberace, 16 Great Performances". I feel a sense of Zen existential horripilation creeping over me...

Tina:

Please can you tell us when you're returning to the road next as we missed the November gigs.
Many thanks

Karen Little:

Dear Bill

We went to the Wembley show on the 29th November and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't laughed so much in ages. Thanks for a great evening.

p.s I know that you are a very busy at the moment, but if you get a chance please could you look at my companies website which we have just launched for musicians and join our growing forum to get back decent and original music.
