Bill's Latest News

Have I Got News For You? Yes, actually.

Posted by on May 8th, 2008

This Friday Bill will be returning to Have I Got News For You for his second stint in the coveted role of guest host. Bill is a long running, critically acclaimed, satirical comedian who should bring an air of respectability to the bewildered, babbling, bearded news quiz. Or something like that. It’s on BBC1 at 9pm, and as usual there is an extended version on BBC2 at 9pm on Saturday.

And in case you didn’t know, 2008 is in fact the Year of Reading, and Bill has appeared in an advert for a government campaign to promote more reading. I could tell you more, but you don’t want to read about it in a load of boring old words do you? Just watch the video, which has pictures and noises and stuff. You can see the advert here, and a making of which also features Bill here.

Don’t forget to check out Bill’s ‘My Favourite Place’ on The History Channel tonight.

Don’t you think it would be awesome that Universities studied Mythology? Or that just me?

  2. brisbane car rental Says:

It’s big and bold and obvious, but I don’t think “garish” quite captures its presence. Brisbane needs more of these types of things – or it’ll just stay as the “gateway to the gold/sunshine coasts” and not have anything to attract people in its own right….
