Never Mind the Buzzcocks
Posted by Helper Worm on September 22nd, 2008
After 11 series of appearing on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, other commitments have led to Bill being unable to take part in the forthcoming series.
We understand that many of you will be disappointed on hearing this news, but on the plus side there will be a Bill-filled future to look forward to in other areas.
Thank you for your continued support.

I just saw you, Bill, at one of your Brisbane Tinselworm shows. It was unbelievable. And although you’re presence on Buzzcocks is a huge highlight for the show, I know that whatever grand projects you’re working on will more than make up for it!
Come back to Aus soon! We love you and need your ludicrousness on a daily basis!

You will be sadly missed from the show. In my opinion you were the only person keeping the show funny since Mark Lemar left.
Good luck with all other endeavours and please find time for another tour DVD. You rock!!

Bill – I’ll never forgive you if you leave Buzzcocks for good. Please promise us you’ll return to the show triumphantly when your schedule is more forgiving!

While at first I was devastated to learn that I would be deprived of the regular eye candy (Bill..of course)on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, after seeing Bill’s Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra at Brighton Dome last night I have great confidence in Bill’s potential for the next few years…especially after being overjoyed to find that row E was in fact the 2nd row giving me a phenomenal orchestral experience, which has left me dumbfounded (as well as a chance to show off my homemade Bill t-shirt)!!! I can’t wait to see what he’ll do next!!!! Thanks for the Keynsham reference you slipped in the news gag you did Bill us local’s have got to keep loud and proud!!!

Bill’s far too talented to be wasting his time on a (long time) dying panel show, in my humble opinion!
So is Phil Jupitus for that matter.
Must have been a hard decision for Bill to leave (‘regular work’ and all that) but it’s probably for the best.
Onwards and upwards!
