Following a sell-out arena tour of the UK in 2007 and a sell-out tour of New Zealand and Australia in 2008, Tinselworm returns to the UK for a run at The Gielgud Theatre, London from November 10th 2008, although with (it is assumed) at least some time off for him to spend some time with his nearest and dearest over the primary gifting period and auxiliary generosity zone.
As in any Bill Bailey show, the subject matter is broad ranging; tattoos, marketing, doorbells, Emo, creationism, post-war banking secrecy, travellers' tales and the alternate reality that is Bill's world - spun together with the sparkling thread of a seasonal invertebrate.
It has all the trademark Bailey elements; lyrical dexterity, tangential silliness and musical brilliance plus animation by award-winning film maker, Joe Magee, all of which combine to make this a verbal and visual treat.
This will be the last time you'll be able to see this show before Bill puts it to bed.
UPDATE - 06/10/2008
Tickets are now on general sale and can be purchased from the box office on 0844 482 5130 or online from the Venue Booking System.

Having just witnessed the spectacle that is the tinsel worm tour on it's odyssey down under. I thoroughly recommend the show. And through hanging around the stage door in the rain with a hopeful yet slightly melancholic look on my face I actually got to meet the man himself. Exciting for me! Less so for my work mates who are now sick of me telling the story of how I hugged a star of stage and screen.

Saw this gig last November (had front row seats at Wembley - thanks Bill) and have been listening to the Tinsel-cd ever since...
Have now bought front row seats for the Gielgud, and telling all my friends to go see.
This is the must-see of the year.
A perfect early Christmas prezzie!
Go go go!

My beau and I had a most enjoyable couple of hours being entertained by this ridiculous man in the CIA in Cardiff. Laughing out loud in an arena full of strangers is a great thing to do, if you've nothing better on offer on a saturday night... I particularly liked the split personalities appearing across the stage.
I will be going again, if Bill would like to see me there.

I went to see Bill in Melbourne recently and he rocked. My wife bought me tickets for fathers day and in her excitement bought me tickets really really really high up in the stalls right near the edge. She forgot my irrational fear of heights. I was sweating when the show began but Bill was so funny he made me forget my fear of heights for a couple of hours. THATS how good he is. Looking forward to the DVD release of TW.
