It might interest you to know that there IS a classical piece of music with the 'ave a banana' motif (except the William Tell overture!)

It is Nunc Dimittis in G by Herbert Sumsion, which I have sung in my choir in South London. You can hear it here at we7.com:

Thanks,

We have just returned from the show at Usher Hall, Edinburgh. Please go to see it. It is amusing, educational, original and manic in parts and he co-ordinates it beautifully. So talented both as a musician and comedian and also an actor. We had seen him at The Edinburgh Festival acting in 12 Angry Men - is there anything this man cannot do? The cow bells scene is awesome! Thanks Bill. More please, original, fresh and educational too.

Really enjoyed the show - although share the reservations of the previous poster about the O2 staff. I guess though that they are on minimum wage and fed up. My children aged 8, 10 and 12 have, since the concert, been 'delighting' their father and I with renditions of 'Insect Nation'. I would have to point out, as the mother of a 12 year old trombonist, that that instrument is not always the bringer of joy! Just ask our neighbours.
